GGGI is seeking a consultant to support NLRP in knowledge management, outreach activities and documentation for a period of 12 months

Objectives of the assignment

The objective of this assignment is to support in communication and outreach activities of NLRP. Through this assignment, NLRP commitments on USAID with respect to branding, marking, communication, discussion papers, newsletters, workshops etc. will be achieved in collaboration with the NLRP Project Management Unit. Field activities documentation and video clips of successful beneficiary engagement and other project related research activities will also be a part of this assignment. Most of the products developed is for external stakeholders including USAID, NTPC Ltd., IIFM, government officials across the hierarchy and the public at large. This position is based out of New Delhi, India and reports to Chief of Party of Narmada Landscape Restoration Project.

Deliverables and Payment schedule

This assignment is to be completed within 12 months and will start from May 2022. Candidates who can join immediately are encouraged to apply. Within the assignment period, the consultant is required to deliver on 6 different activities and payments will be against these deliverables. All deliverables will be in English. In addition, the Consultant may be required to submit the outputs in other languages like based on the need. The Consultant shall consider the comments and necessary revisions proposed. Within 14 days from the receipt of the comments or modification proposal from the GGGI, the Consultant shall prepare and submit the final versions of the report.

The consultant will have access to GGGI resources that can be used in preparing the deliverables. The methodology and process of arriving at each of the deliverables will be discussed and finalized in detail with the reporting officer. This assignment has a total budget of USD 8,400.

Expertise required

The description of required expert may be split into following parts:

  • A minimum educational qualification of postgraduate in Economics, Mass Communication, Forestry, Agriculture, and allied subjects.
  • At least one years’ experience in preparing communication material like brochures, banners, animation PPTs, webpage designing and social media management.
  • Experience of working on landscape projects with international organizations like GGGI, UNDP, USAID etc. is highly preferred.
  • Detailed oriented and ability to produce quality knowledge products with little supervision.
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Hindi is required.
